Performance Santa Fe
Festival of Song Tamara Wilson and Heidi Melton with Robert Tweten

Two stars of the opera world, sopranos Tamara Wilson and Heidi Melton, are both hailed for their interpretations of some of opera’s most dramatic roles. Performance Santa Fe’s Festival of Song brings these luminaries together for an electrifying afternoon recital. Wilson, the 2016 recipient of the prestigious Richard Tucker Award, has been hailed for her “statuesque stillness” (Parterre Box) and the “majestic beauty” (The Independent) of her technique. This summer, Wilson will make her Santa Fe Opera debut in the role of Isolde in Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde. Already an established interpreter of powerful Wagnerian roles such as Brünnhilde, Heidi Melton possesses “a fluid voice without limitation” (The Scotsman). Melton made her Bayreuth debut as Sieglinde in Die Walküre in 2016 and has performed with some of the premier orchestras and operas across the world.
PSF’s Festival of Song presents rising and established stars of the opera world in intimate one-hour recitals at the Scottish Rite Temple. Each performance is followed by a reception in the Grand Ballroom where you are invited to meet the artists over drinks and desserts.
