Leila Josefowicz Violin Recital

In this solo recital, violinist Leila Josefowicz—winner of a prestigious MacArthur Fellowship and one of today’s foremost champions of contemporary classical music—plays German composer Matthias Pintscher’s La Linea Evocativa: A Drawing for Violin Solo (which she premiered in New York City in 2020 via a virtual performance) and arguably Bach’s best-known work for solo violin: the Partita No 2 in D Minor.
