The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields is known for its outstanding mastery of the most beloved chamber works. The Academy’s wind ensemble, composed of principal players of the orchestra, is no different. Joined by Caroline Palmer, a pianist renowned worldwide for her outstanding solo and chamber performances, the ensemble will bring a program of beloved repertoire to the St. Francis Auditorium. Mediated by the group’s “impeccable sense of balance,” (Seen and Heard International) the evening will explore the different shades and timbres of wind instruments alongside the richness and versatility of the piano.
