A Place Called Home

A PLACE CALLED HOME is a dramatic cantata for chorus, soloists and chamber orchestra. It’s topic is care for the earth. The piece received its world premiere in Carnegie Hall in April of 2023. This performance is the New Mexico premiere of the newly-revised score. Sung by the combined choirs of Coro Lux and the United Church, the concert will be preceded by a panel discussion, including the composer and librettist, local clergy, a professor of ethics and a Diné physician.
