Alice in Wonderland

Following acclaimed, sold-out performances across North America, International Ballet Stars presents Alice in Wonderland, a spectacular world premiere coming to the Lensic Performing Arts Center on Friday, April 9, at 7:00 PM.

Lewis Carroll’s beloved story is reimagined through a bold theatrical vision, featuring breathtaking sets and costumes designed in collaboration with the world renown artist Romero Britto. Blending classical ballet, Broadway-style spectacle, and the vibrant energy of pop art, this one-of-a-kind production transports audiences into a world unlike anything they have experienced onstage.

Extraordinary characters, and sophisticated storytelling are brought to life by an international cast of artists representing leading ballet traditions from 16 countries.

Romero Britto is one of the world’s most collected and licensed living artists. His work has appeared in more than 100 countries, and his collaborations include Disney, Coca-Cola, Bentley, the FIFA World Cup, and the Olympics.

Artistic direction is by Artem Yachmennikov, former principal dancer with San Francisco Ballet and Dutch National Ballet and a graduate of the Vaganova Ballet Academy.

Set to Claude Debussy’s exquisite music, the two-act production runs approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, including intermission. Recommended for ages 3 and up – an unforgettable family experience for all.
