Join us for a captivating evening celebrating the life, legacy, and cultural impact of Jock Soto—a trailblazing Diné (Navajo)-Puerto Rican artist, born and raised in New Mexico. Celebrated as one of the most influential ballet dancers of his generation, Soto’s remarkable career with the New York City Ballet broke barriers and redefined classical excellence.
Featuring a live interview with Jock, participatory dance-making, and the reveal of Jock Soto: The Dancer and His Life—a searchable digital archive, this evening honors the stories, identities, and cultural traditions that continue to shape and inspire his work.
