Beethoven & Korngold

Guillermo Figueroa conducts Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony and Korngold’s Violin Concerto featuring Ben Beilman, one of the leading violinists of his generation making his Santa Fe Symphony debut. Famous for his film scores of the 1930s and 40s, Korngold composed his concerto with the same sophistication and romanticism he brought to Hollywood. Also on the program is Dvorak’s Carnival Overture, featuring a side-by-side performance with the Santa Fe Youth Symphony.
