Colin Currie Recital

Colin Currie—hailed as “the world’s finest and most daring percussionist” by The Spectator, “an athlete and a star” by The Guardian, and a musician who’s “at the summit of percussion performance today” by Gramophone—makes his highly anticipated Festival debut by giving the Festival’s first-ever solo percussion recital. His wide-ranging recital repertoire includes Rolf Wallin’s Realismos Mágicos for marimba, Andy Akiho’s Spiel for glockenspiel, and a new work by the exciting young British composer Dani Howard.
