In this highly anticipated duo recital, Peter Wiley—the former cellist for the legendary Guarneri Quartet and Beaux Arts Trio—and pianist Anna Polonsky—whom The Wall Street Journal said “awes” audiences with her playing—perform two gorgeous 19th-century works: Beethoven’s groundbreaking A-major Sonata (considered by many to be the best of his five cello sonatas) and Mendelssohn’s Romantic (but also Bach-inspired) D-major Sonata.
