Set in the heart of Santa Fe, America’s oldest capital city, this tale leads the audience deep into a nefarious plan set in motion by Zozobra, Santa Fe’s most infamous malcontent. Invited by the city fathers to be the guest of honor at a celebration intended to defeat him, Zozobra instead turns the tables, wreaking havoc on the city as he wrests hope and happiness from the hearts and minds of Santa Fe’s children. Can the Fire Spirit conquer the gloom? A legendary clash between the forces of good and evil unfolds as the soul of the city itself is tested.
