Festival of Song: Lucy Crowe & Josh Lovell
This year, the Lensic is excited to present the Festival Song, a series of three recitals featuring some of the stunning young vocalists engaged in the Santa Fe Opera’s 2026 season, held at the First Presbyterian Church. Conductor, pianist, and Santa Fe Opera’s Head of Music Staff Robert Tweten leads the performances.
Widely regarded as one of the most versatile and respected singers of her generation, soprano Lucy Crowe was awarded an OBE in the 2023 King’s Birthday Honors. Equally at home in opera, concert, and recital, Lucy appears regularly with many of the world’s leading opera houses, orchestras, and conductors.
Tenor Josh Lovell is quickly gaining notoriety in the world’s most prestigious houses. An incredibly versatile artist, his repertoire spans the Baroque to Romantic periods, as well as modern works of the 20th century.
