Celebrate the musical culture of Latin America with this exciting program led by Maestro Guillermo Figueroa, presenting the talents of your Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra and guest soloists JP Jofre and Miguel del Águila. JP Jofre, one of the world’s leading performers of the bandoneón—the Latin American version of the accordion—joins The Symphony for Astor Piazzolla’s Concerto for Bandoneón, “Aconcagua.” The Symphony is also honored to have a special appearance by Latin GRAMMY® nominated composer and musician Miguel del Águila playing the conga on his popular “Conga”—not-to-be-missed! This incredible afternoon of great music also presents Roberto Sierra’s Symphony No. 3, “La Salsa” and Ariel Ramírez’ Misa Criolla, featuring The Symphony Chorus.
