In partnership with Santa Fe Summer Scene, The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra presents Sonrisas! Smiles of A Summer Night, celebrating the Symphony’s final performance of its 40th Anniversary Season. Gather your friends and family and experience this collaborative performance with the Symphony and the exciting rhythms of the Latin-music powerhouse band Nosotros!

A Santa Fe favorite, Nosotros is undoubtedly the Southwest’s top dance band. They seamlessly combine Latin rhythms with elements of rock, salsa, jazz, and cumbia, creating an original sound that is unmistakable. Originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico, Nosotros is now based in the Santa Fe/Albuquerque area. They have a near non-stop performance schedule and have been featured on NPR’s “Alt Latino;” named twice as winners in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Competition; and awarded 13 New Mexico Music Awards including “Best Latin Song,” “Best Arrangement,” and “Producer of the Year.” Nosotros has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music such as Tom Petty, The Black Crowes, Rod Stewart, Toto, and many more. Now you get to see them live in Santa Fe—sharing the stage with the Santa Fe Symphony under the baton of guest conductor Thomas Heuser!

Set against the backdrop of The Sangre de Cristo Mountains, The Santa Fe Symphony and Nosotros will perform at Fort Marcy Park on Tuesday, July 9th at 7:30 pm as part of Santa Fe’s outdoor Summer Scene. This celebratory concert is not to be missed! Tickets are FREE to the public, with front lawn placement available for $40. Expected attendance is over 5,000 Santa Feans of all ages for this family-friendly show. So purchase your VIP Lawn tickets early and we’ll see you this summer in the park!

Please note that seats are not provided for this event; you may bring blankets, or low-back or camping-style chairs.
