Production Manager

The Lensic Performing Arts Center seeks a full-time Production Manager to support and advance performances at the Lensic and outside Lensic 360 venues. This position plays a crucial role in advancing all technical aspects of performances that take place inside and outside of the theater.

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production calendar and coordinating staffing and resources to ensure the successful execution of a wide variety of performances. This position works closely with artists, presenters, and internal departments and serves as a primary liaison for all production-related matters.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency and working knowledge of all aspects of technical theater and ideally have prior experience in production management or a related role. This position requires strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and will preferably hold a BA in technical theater or related fields. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required as dictated by performance schedules.

Marketing Administrative Assistant

The Lensic Performing Arts Center seeks a Marketing Administrative Assistant to report to the Lensic’s Director of Marketing & Communications. This position supports the marketing and communications efforts of the Lensic Performing Arts Center, including Lensic 360.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage weekly newsletters and ticketing emails
  • Assist with new show set-ups using various web and ticketing platforms
  • Assist with tracking advertisements, content, and meeting sponsor obligations
  • Assist with customer inquiries
  • Assist with content for the Lensic’s printed programs and publications
  • Proofread and assist with written external communications for all departments: education, development, and marketing
  • Assist with website updates and content.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong writing and proofreading skills, and be quick and responsive while working in a fast-paced environment. This position will require being able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, as well as a great attention to detail. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required. The successful candidate will also have familiarity with WordPress, Wordfly, or similar web and newsletter platforms. Associate’s degree or higher is preferred.
