Education Manager
The Lensic Performing Arts Center seeks an experienced educator for the position of Education Manager. This position oversees all education and engagement programs for the Lensic and reports to the Managing Director. This position works actively with related staff, local school districts, and community partners to develop, implement, and sustain a wide variety of arts education programs for students in Santa Fe and throughout the region.
The Education Manager is responsible for overseeing and administering multiple Lensic education programs, including:
- Lensic matinee performances in conjunction with the Santa Fe Public School’s COMPASS program
- Masterclasses with Lensic Presents artists
- Lensic Hocus Focus Residency
- Lensic Future Voices
- Technical Theater Internship Program
- Class Acts and Angels Tickets
- Lensic Flamenco Residency
- Program Notes
The ideal candidate will have experience with working with educators and volunteers; excellent written and verbal communication skills; computer skills (Microsoft Office/Word, Excel, Outlook); event management experience; and previous teaching, education, and/or programming experience. The position requires the ability to manage multiple project deadlines with great attention to detail. Occasional evening and weekend work required.
A bachelor’s degree and previous educational experience is preferred.
