Beach Bunny & The Beths
On 2025’s Tunnel Vision, Beach Bunny is getting back to basics: urgent, guitar-based indie rock with pop melodies. Woven through the album, “Just Around the Corner” echoes dynamic ’90s indie rock courtesy of fuzzed-out guitars and crashing drums, while slashing riffs and precise rhythms propel the melodic “Big Pink Bubble.”
Ásgeir
As one of Iceland’s most successful exports, singer-songwriter Ásgeir has always pushed the boundaries of his thoughtful brand of folk-pop. Currently, Ásgeir is preparing for his next album, focusing on songwriting with a fresh approach; prioritizing melody and personal storytelling, exploring themes of relationships, aging, hope, and nostalgia.
Fruit Bats
Indie folk-rock act Fruit Bats grew from the four-track recording project of songwriter Eric D. Johnson into a touring band with an ever-shifting lineup, but constant are warm vocals and melodic sensibility, both of which often seem to split the difference between Lennon and McCartney.
Eagles of Death Metal
Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, founded in 1998 by best friends Jesse Hughes and Joshua Homme. With a sound that's a combination of “bluegrass slide guitar mixed with stripper drum beats and Canned Heat vocals," and a frontman in Hughes who is known for his over-the-top stage histrionics and evangelistic interaction with his fans, the band’s live performances are a sight to be seen.
